This YouTube video covers the first two essentials of handling SAT Reading new “double” questions – the ones in which the second question in the set asks, “Which of the following text references is the best evidence for the preceding question.” There are 10 pairs of these on the test, for a total of 20 questions (out of 52). That’s a huge piece. Having worked with probably at least 100 kids on these now, I can comfortably say that most kids have difficulty with them. Here’s the good news: once you learn how to do the double questions, you should be able to get virtually all of them right. That can really help your score. I haven’t decided yet whether to do another video that explains the other essentials, but the video here, even without some parts of the method, should still help most kids significantly.
